children and faith... not to mention centuries of unresolved family
business! Freely based on the story of Genesis, *Children Of Eden* is a
frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict
between parents and children. Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created
them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective
children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message:
that "the hardest part of love... is letting go."

Hi Everybody,
We are only a week away from starting Session Two!
We can use the help of four or five parent volunteers to sign in the
students and make sure their
paperwork is complete on Monday, June 21 at Hathaway Brown from 9:15am
- 10:15am
(full day and half day / morning students) and then again that day
from 12:45 - 1:45pm
(half day / afternoon).
Each year we depend upon parent volunteers for this function to leave
the staff free to
"meet and greet" your kids as they arrive and start to mix.
Let me know if you can help us out! Thanks ...

Hi Everybody,
For the past two years, FPAC has been lucky enough to have access to a
vacant house owned by Mayfield Village adjacent to the Mayfield Village
Civic Center parking lot.
The village is planning on tearing down this house some time within the next
two months.
If you have or can help us identify some storage space(s) for these items it
would be greatly appreciated.

*Here is what a few of our students and parents had to say about Fairmount
Performing Arts Conservatory (FPAC) Summer 2010 First Session and Children
of Eden!
*
*I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful experience
Emily had in Children of Eden. The show itself fantastic, growing more
moving each time I watched. (8 out the 10 performances - and I cried EVERY
time!) And the cast as a group were so supportive of each other and
connected - a real "show family" feeling that is one of the best things
performing can offer. I think the display of tears from so many cast
members as the final performance came to its close said it all. Emily cried
for 45 minutes after we left, had dinner, got on facebook and cried some
more as she talked to various cast members! Between FPAC training and COE=
,
Emily says this has been the best summer of her life - what more can a mom
ask for? Although, I am still getting pestered because she was unable to do
the GLEE group at second session... I hope it is a huge success and you do
it next summer. I "pinky swore" (an unbreakable vow in our family) that sh=
e
could do it next year! She is looking forward to her EAT audition, and to
whatever else you have coming down the line. Bravo for all the work that
goes into creating this remarkable arts experience for young people - your
work is amazing.
*Shannon Wirthwein (mother of Emily Wirthwein)
I love FPAC. FPAC has become my other family. The staff is unbelievable an=

they really know how to connect with us. The people are fantastic and I
could not wish for a better summer experience. I learned so much! Even

talent that these teachers gave us.
Kal Bowers

Dan Hoy
*Everyone uses the word "superb" because there is really no other way to
describe FPAC. It's the best performing arts training you will get anywhere
in northeast Ohio. You learn more than seems possible in three weeks from
the perfect team of teachers as well as from fellow students. I have to
mention Mitchell Fields' advanced acting class, as he gave us tools that
helped us grow immeasurably as actors. Working with Fred and the casts of
Joseph and Children of Eden were the highlights of my two years with FPAC; =
I
hope to come back as soon as possible!
Shea Lee*
I=92ve learned SO MUCH!! Fpac was a wonderful experience, and I can=92t wa=

Hi!
My name is Beth Simon. I'm an FPAC parent who is coordinating our End-of-S=
ummer Extravaganza.
If you received an email such as this a few days ago, please disregard. (C=
omputer problems.)
Anyway, before we start deciding who-does-what, and who-brings-what, I tho=
ught it would be smart to get an idea of exactly who is attending. As you=
know, families are invited.
So, please let me know by this Monday how many from your family are attend=
ing. If no one from your family can attend, please let me know as well.=20
If you are not sure, just say that. I'd rather us plan for more, rather th=
an less and be caught short with not enough food or supplies.
Once we get a count, I will get back to you with a list of what we need,=
and everyone can sign up for what they'd like to bring.
I think for now, that's about it.
This should be a fantastic get together for the kids especially who have=
worked so hard at FPAC this summer.
Oh, and don't forget, next weekend, FPAC's second summer production, "Honk=
Jr." runs Thursday-Sunday, July 29-August 1, and "Pride & Prejudice" run=
s August 12-August 15" at the Mayfield Village Civic Center. Call the tick=
et hotline at 440-782-4087 to reserve tickets to these fabulous shows. FPA=
C's "Triple Threat Ensemble" will perform after each "Honk Jr." performanc=
e as an extra treat! Don't miss any of these wonderful productions!
Looking forward to seeing you at the party, and at the shows!
Best--

Hi!
My name is Beth Simon. I'm an FPAC parent who is coordinating our End=
-of-Summer Extravaganza.
If you received an email such as this a few days ago, please disregar=
d. (Computer problems.)
Anyway, before we start deciding who-does-what, and who-brings-what,=
I thought it would be smart to get an idea of exactly who is attending.=
As you know, families are invited.
So, please let me know by this Monday how many from your family are=
attending. If no one from your family can attend, please let me know as=
well.
If you are not sure, just say that. I'd rather us plan for more, rath=
er than less and be caught short with not enough food or supplies.
Once we get a count, I will get back to you with a list of what we ne=
ed, and everyone can sign up for what they'd like to bring.
I think for now, that's about it.
This should be a fantastic get together for the kids especially who=
have worked so hard at FPAC this summer.
Oh, and don't forget, next weekend, FPAC's second summer production,=
"Honk Jr." runs Thursday-Sunday, July 29-August 1, and "Pride &=
Prejudice" runs August 12-August 15" at the Mayfield Village Civic Center=
. Call the ticket hotline at 440-782-4087 to reserve tickets to these fabu=
lous shows. FPAC's "Triple Threat Ensemble" will perform after each "Honk=
Jr." performance as an extra treat! Don't miss any of these wonderful pro=
ductions!
Looking forward to seeing you at the party, and at the shows!
Best--
Beth Simon

Hi Everybody,
We are only a week away from starting Session Three !
We can use the help of four or five parent volunteers to sign in the
students and make sure their paperwork is complete on Monday, August 2
at Hathaway Brown from 9:15am - 10:15am (full day and half day /
morning students) and then again that day
from 12:45 - 1:45pm (half day / afternoon).
Each year we depend upon parent volunteers for this function to leave
the staff free to "meet and greet" your kids as they arrive and start to mix.
Let me know if you can help us out! Thanks ...

*FPAC's THIRD SESSION starts in ONE WEEK, on Monday, August 2!
Why should you attend FPAC? A few comments from our students and parents..=
.
The staff is unbelievable an=
d
they really know how to connect with us. The people are fantastic and I
could not wish for a better summer experience. I learned so much! Even
after 5 years! Staff =96 LOVE ALL OF THEM!
Billy Lawrence
One of the best summers here ever! Superb! FPAC is absolutely incredible.
It for sure is my second home, all the instructors are wonderful and so
helpful. J
Jessie Gill
Over the past two years I have improved so much, and you can see my
improvement in every scene I perform. I am so glad I made the decision to
do FPAC because I have had so much fun and gotten more out of 3 weeks than =
I
ever thought I could.
Abigail Erwin
This is my second year at FPAC, and it certainly won=92t be the last, love
everything!! J
All of the staff I worked with were both knowledgeable and friendly. I love=
d
all of them.
Justin Faulhaber
Loved it! I learn new things every year and have been HERE FOR SIX YEARS!
Staff =96 I love you guys. Superb!
Hunter Evans
It is a rare opportunity to be completely engrossed in the study of theatre
and work alongside people who care about it as much as you do.
Luke Brett
SUPERB! This is my first year at FPAC, but I can say that I came out of it
a much greater actor and with many more friends.
Kayleigh Loveland
FPAC is the best performing arts conservatory I=92ve known. All of the staf=
f
are great. They are so talented and taught me a lot.
Hannah Watson
The staff is amazing. I have found wonderful teachers through this program.
This is a wonderful way to spend the summer. I feel like I develop so muc=
h
more each year Iattend.
Siobhan Carroll
Never better! The staff, without a doubt, is the best ever in all my years
here!
Catie Lally
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious isn=92t even a good enough word to expla=
in
FPAC. J
Ashleigh Nagy
The program over all was different than anything I=92ve ever done. This is
the most I have learned in an acting camp. I was humbled by the wisdom and
talent that these teachers gave us.
Kal Bowers
SUPERB! HELPS SO MUCH!
Fpac was a wonderful experience, and I can=92t wa=
it to
come back! Everyone was so nice and easygoing =96 with this staff you don=
=92t
have to be afraid to make a mistake.
Emma Weihe
SUPERB! I loved the conservatory! I learned so much and had a great time. =
I
loved all the teachers.
