makes it truly theatrical, that anyone can do. Required reading for the
class will be Backwards and Forwards, by David Ball, and Hamlet, by William
Shakespeare.

Did you know that 10% of children and teens have some amount of disordered
eating, and 5% have a full blown eating disorder? And, that all of them
manage to keep it secret from those closest to them - at least at the
beginning of the problem?
By bringing your family and friends to see EAT (IT'S NOT ABOUT FOOD) at
FPAC, you could be helping your loved ones.

Hi Everybody,
There is a class limit of 15 for Mitchell Fields "Advanced Acting -
Classical" that is nearly sold out, so we are considering (it is not for
sure yet) adding a second section that would run for three weeks, July 12 -
30, 1:30 - 4:30pm.
If you are interested in participating in this, please call Fairmount Cente=
r
at 440-338-3171 to get on the waiting list.
Here is a description of the workshop:
ADVANCED ACTING TRAINING THROUGH CLASSICAL PLAY PRODUCTION
*Instructor: *Mitchell B. Fields, Professor =96 Baldwin Wallace College, AE=
A
Actor, Director and Teacher
*Dates:* Session One (three weeks) June 21 - July 9
*Additional Dates (wait list - not for sure yet):*
Session Two (three weeks) July 12 - 30
*Times:* 1:30 - 4:30pm
*Limit:* 15 students
*Ages:* 8th grade =96 College; Adults will be accepted on a waiting list.
In the three weeks of class students will work on a play from the works of
either Chekhov, Ibsen, or O'Neill, depending on the size of the class and
the breakdown of the participants. Each student will be assigned a role and
will develop that character for the entire session with a performance of th=
e
entire play on the final day. Each role will be challenging and appropriate
for each student. By following a role from beginning to end, the student
will acquire skills that are applied to actual performing, with the
advantage of being coached, not just directed. Exercises will be
incorporated to help with character development, sensory awareness, action
work and communion.
